Changing a booking
Contact the email in the legal notice or the original booking channel, stating your name and appointment. A reschedule requires mutual confirmation.
Cancellation by participants
Notice periods and any fees must be expressly agreed before booking. Unconfirmed enquiries incur no cancellation fee.
Cancellation by Bachata Sense
An alternative date is offered if a confirmed service cannot be delivered. If no replacement is agreed, payments for the undelivered service are refunded. A voucher will not replace a refund without your agreement. Further statutory rights remain unaffected. Refunds generally use the original payment method; mandatory deadlines apply.
Statutory withdrawal
Swiss law provides no general statutory withdrawal right for ordinary online bookings. If EU consumer law applies to your contract and no statutory exception applies, you may withdraw from a distance service contract within 14 days of its conclusion without giving a reason. Send a clear statement to Patrick Schaffner, Bachata Sense, Dorfstrasse 13, 5415 Untersiggenthal, Switzerland, or bachatasense@gmail.com. Sending it before the deadline is sufficient. Leisure services booked for a specific date or period may be exempt; you will be informed before such a booking.
Effects of withdrawal
Following a valid statutory withdrawal, payments received are refunded within 14 days of receiving your statement, normally using the original payment method. If you expressly requested that a service start during the withdrawal period, a proportionate charge for services already supplied may be due where the law permits. Mandatory rights remain unaffected.
