Provider and scope
Bachata Sense is operated by Patrick Schaffner; full contact details appear in the legal notice. These terms cover personally confirmed private lessons, partner coaching and workshops. Individual agreements and mandatory rights take precedence. Terms become part of a contract only when made available and agreed before conclusion.
Booking and prices
A WhatsApp, Instagram or email enquiry is not a confirmed booking. A contract arises when both parties expressly agree the service, date, location and total price in writing. Currency, room/travel costs, payment method and due date are agreed before confirmation. The website does not automatically collect payment.
Packages and cancellation
Package scope, scheduling, transferability and any expiry are agreed before purchase; these terms impose no blanket expiry. Cancellation fees require an express agreement before booking. See Booking & cancellation.
Participation, contact and recordings
Teaching is adapted to the agreed level. Participants communicate limitations relevant to safe practice and respect personal boundaries. Physical contact and recordings require the consent of those involved; a booking is not consent to advertising photography. Teaching does not replace medical care.
Materials and responsibility
Learning materials are for the agreed personal use. Resale or public redistribution requires permission, subject to lawful exceptions. No specific learning outcome is guaranteed. Liability follows applicable law; these terms do not impose a blanket exclusion for personal injury, intent or gross negligence. Please report problems promptly.
Online Academy
A member account is not a paid subscription. The Online Academy is being developed. Any paid digital offer will have its own service description, price, duration and cancellation information.
Mandatory rights
Mandatory consumer rights and statutory jurisdictions remain unaffected, including for cross-border offers. No exclusive jurisdiction or blanket exclusion of foreign consumer rights is imposed.
